Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR INDICATING REVERSE TRAJECTORY OF VEHICLE A system (100) and method for indicating a reverse trajectory of a vehicle (102) is disclosed. A controller (108) determines a reversing maneuver of the vehicle based on sensor data received from one or more sensors (104) disposed within the vehicle (102). A rear wheel track path of a set of rear wheels (106) of the vehicle (102) is computed based on the sensor data and a predefined vehicle geometry associated with the vehicle (102) using a kinematic bicycle model. A reverse trajectory comprising one or more curved path lines and a swept envelope is determined based on the rear wheel track path. At least one visual indicator (114) is disposed on a rear panel (304) of the vehicle (102) and configured to indicate the one or more curved path lines and the swept envelope on a ground surface (301) external to the vehicle (102).
