Abstract: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR EXAMINING A DATA ENTRY FOR DETECTING A FRAUD ABSTRACT The present disclosure relates to method for examining data entry (202) for detecting fraud, method comprising receiving data (206) corresponding to subject; identifying latent patterns (208) in each data entry (210) from amongst data; generating fingerprint (212) of each data entry; creating vector database (214) of fingerprints by storing fingerprint of each data entry; receiving data entry corresponding to subject to be examined; identifying latent patterns in data entry; generating fingerprint of data entry; identifying nearest neighbour fingerprint(s) (218) of fingerprint of data entry, from vector database of fingerprints; determining if similarity between fingerprint of data entry and identified nearest neighbour fingerprint(s) is more than predefined threshold; when it is determined that similarity between fingerprint of data entry and identified nearest neighbour fingerprint(s) is more than predefined threshold, deeming data entry to be detected with fraud; and adding fingerprint of data entry to vector database.
