MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521024548 A) filed by Lti Mindtree Ltd. on March 19, 2025, for Method And System For Ensuring Trust In Artificial Intelligence (ai) Agent Operations.

Inventors include Pradeep. T; and Ranganath Ramakrishna.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: A method and system (106) for ensuring trust in AI agent operations is disclosed. The system (106) receives input data and performs input evaluation using predefined trust metrics to generate a set of input trust scores that are transmitted to an agent administrator interface (110). Upon receiving an approval signal via the agent administrator interface (110), the system (106) forwards the input data to the AI agent. The system (106) receives an output data generated by the AI agent, and performs validation of the output data using an optimal validation source selected from a hierarchical arrangement of validation sources. The validation source selection progresses through the hierarchical arrangement based on data availability. The system (106) generates a set of output trust scores and transmits them to the agent administrator interface (110) to facilitate determining whether to accept the output data.
