MUMBAI, India, Sept. 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541022927 A) filed by Tejas Networks Limited on March 13, 2025, for Method And System For Efficient Power Distribution In Communication Networks.
Inventor includes Vinod Kumar M.
The application for the patent was published on September 18, 2026, under issue no. 38/2026.
Abstract: The invention introduces a communication system that utilizes a structured power distribution mechanism to optimize power allocation across N sub-bands, enhancing spectral efficiency and adaptability. A processing unit identifies and distributes power units using Structured Power Allocation, ensuring dynamic power allocation. A transmitter generates and transmits signals based on all possible power distribution structures, while a receiver processes the received signals to reconstruct the transmitted information. Moreover, the processing unit applies to a polynomial expansion model to derive channel capacity as a function of power for more precise capacity evaluation. The system further includes a device that dynamically adjusts power distribution, improving efficiency in multi-carrier communication environments. This innovation enhances data rates, spectral efficiency, and energy utilization, making it highly suitable for next-generation communication networks. Figure 1 (publication).
