Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR COOLING AN INDOOR ENVIRONMENT USING AN AIR CONDITIONER 5 The present disclosure relates to a method and a system for cooling an indoor environment using an air conditioner in an energy-efficient manner. The method involves receiving a set of parameters associated with the indoor environment, including user defined temperature information, information related to humidity level, and air speed generated by a fan. Based 10 on these parameters, the method evaluates an adjusted temperature that reflects a perceived comfort level for a user, wherein the adjusted temperature is higher than the user defined temperature. The method further operates the air conditioner based on the adjusted temperature instead of the user defined temperature, thereby reducing excessive cooling demand. By dynamically aligning the operating temperature of the air conditioner with the 15 evaluated adjusted temperature, the method optimizes power consumption of the air conditioner while sustaining a comfortable indoor environment for the user.
