Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CONVERGENCE-CONTROLLED SENSOR FUSION BASED PREDICTIVE MONITORING AND AUTONOMOUS DECISION GENERATION This invention relates to a method and system of convergence controlled sensor fusion based prediction and autonomous decision generation. This system is designed to receive heterogeneous sensor inputs from a set of sensors, pre-processes, synchronize, and evaluate the confidence in the received sensor inputs. A multi- level sensor fusion component creates a combined sensor state representation that is then evaluated using a complex valued uncertainty state generator and a fixed point iterative refinement component to produce a refined sensor state. A convergence verification component verifies the refined sensor state to produce a stable prediction operational state that is used for predictive monitoring, risk assessment, and autonomous decision generation. An adaptive feedback learning component tunes the confidence, fusion, uncertainty, convergence, prediction, risk, and decision parameters based on the operational feedback for future monitoring periods.
