Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CLOSED LOOP OPTIMIZATION OF BEYOND 5G OPEN RADIO ACCESS NETWORKS INVOLVING SIGMOID ENVELOPE PERFORMANCE MODELING. The present invention relates to a method and system for closed-loop optimization of an Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) in Beyond 5G environments. A RAN Intelligent Controller (RIC) receives real-time inputs including Channel State Information (CSI) and user requirements. A Sigmoid Envelope Modeling Approach (SEMA) estimates maximum achievable user throughput as a continuous function of signal-to-interference- plus-noise ratio (SINR) across multiple modulation and coding schemes, numerologies, and frequency bands. The throughput is transformed into a convex and differentiable analytical form to enable efficient optimization. The RIC performs resource allocation, including admission control, power allocation, and physical resource block (PRB) allocation, and transmits decisions to distributed and radio units for execution. The achieved data rate at user equipment (UE) is compared with required data rate to generate an error, which is iteratively fed back to refine allocation. Fig. 1
