Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems and methods for detecting anomaly in a surrounding. Initially, an area of the surrounding is monitored for anomaly detection for a first predefined time period. Further, a region of interest (ROI) from an image of the area of the surrounding is identified at a second time instance. Further, RGB valuation series and HSI valuation series are determined. Furthermore, a deviation matrix is determined based on a correlation between the corresponding RGB valuation series and the corresponding HSI valuation series. Finally, an anomaly in the ROI is detected by mapping severity of deviation in the deviation matrix from a reference image of the ROI at a first time instance
