Abstract: The group of inventions relates to the field of railway track maintenance. A method for aligning a railway track in plan, longitudinal profile, and level is characterized in that data obtained from a track measurement device are processed in a computing center, a database of coordinate marks and/or railway infrastructure objects is generated, and, based on the processed data and the generated database, a program task for railway track alignment is formed and subsequently transmitted to a control unit of a track alignment system of a track maintenance machine. The control unit is connected to a satellite positioning system receiver, and track alignment is performed by control commands from the control unit to the machine controller after the preliminary determination of the track machine’s position relative to the coordinate marks of railway infrastructure objects. Also claimed is a system for aligning a railway track in plan, longitudinal profile, and level, comprising a computing center connected for data exchange with the control unit of the railway track alignment system. The technical result of the claimed technical solution consists in improving the technological and operational efficiency of track alignment works.
