Abstract: A method and a device for performing a beamforming training procedure in consideration of a millimeter wave band in a wireless LAN system are disclosed. The method according to one embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise steps in which a first station (STA): transmits, to a second STA, one or more first frames for beamforming training based on N (N1) sectors; and receives, from the second STA, a second frame including information about the best sector from among the N sectors. Here, the beamforming training can include a sector level sweep step and/or a beam refinement protocol step. On the basis that a plurality of procedure types for the beamforming training are defined, information about a specific procedure type to be applied to the beamforming training from among the plurality of procedure types can be exchanged between the first STA and the second STA before the beamforming training.
