MUMBAI, India, Sept. 14 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641106671 A) filed by Indian Institute Of Science on September 04, 2026, for Method And Control System For A Solid-State Transformer.
Inventors include Surjakanta Mazumder; Harisyam Pv; and Kaushik Basu.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR A SOLID-STATE TRANSFORMER 10 15 20 The present disclosure provides method and control system of Solid-State Transformer. The method comprises determining a total output current reference from an output voltage control loop of a SST and determining, for each DAB converter of a plurality of DAB converters, a corresponding intermediate DC bus voltage. Determining, for each DAB converter, a current correction signal based on a deviation of the corresponding intermediate DC bus voltage from an intermediate DC bus reference voltage. Determining, based on the current correction signals, corresponding current references for the plurality of DAB converters. A summation of the current references of the plurality of DAB converters equals the total output current reference. Further, determining, for each DAB converter, a modulation phase shift based on the corresponding current reference and an output voltage of the SST and controlling power transfer in each of the plurality of DAB converters based on the corresponding modulation phase shift.
