Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND APPARATUS TO OPTIMIZE SESSION ESTABLISHMENT ACROSS DEVICES A method performed by a network entity configured for connection and administration services is provided. The method includes receiving, from a use equipment, a traffic descriptor which has started to be used by the user equipment; determining a set of data session attributes for traffic described by the traffic descriptor based on information about capabilities of the user equipment and information obtained from entities of the communication network; and providing to a second core network entity or the user equipment the set of data session attributes to be used by the second core network entity or the user equipment for establishing a data session for the traffic or modifying an existing data session for the traffic.
