Abstract: There is provided a method for WLAN sensing protection. A symmetric key is established between an initiator and a responder. The symmetric key is used to parameterize a transformation function. When measurement signals are transmitted by the initiator, they are first transformed by the transformation function. When these measurement signals are received at the responder, the responder applies the inverse of the transformation function to the received signal. The responder may then analyze the received and transformed signal and provide a measurement report back to the initiator.
