Abstract: According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, provided are a method and apparatus for subscribing to a media item, and a device and a storage medium. The method comprises: displaying a first media item, and a subscription control associated with the first media item; in response to receiving a user operation for the subscription control, determining a subscription theme associated with the first media item; and in response to determining that a predetermined condition corresponding to the subscription theme is met, displaying at least one second media item matching the subscription theme. Thus, users can be supported to subscribe to desired media items by means of a simpler operation, and the efficiency of browsing the media items by the users is improved.
