The method for sending information comprises: a terminal device receives a first signal at a first frequency, the first signal being at least used by the terminal device to perform timing and/or time synchronization; and, at least on the basis of the first signal, the terminal device sends second information at a second frequency, the second information being carried in a second signal formed by the terminal device by means of backscattering a first waveform or carried in a third signal autonomously generated by the terminal device.
