Abstract: A method and apparatus for sending downlink control information (DCI), a method and apparatus for receiving DCI, and a terminal and a network side device, which belong to the technical field of communications. The method for receiving DCI comprises: a terminal determining target information; and on the basis of the target information, the terminal receiving target DCI and/or determining feedback information which corresponds to the target DCI, wherein the target DCI carries sleep indication information. The target information comprises at least one of the following: a resource object corresponding to the target DCI; DAI or DCI count information; a limit of the number of pieces of DCI; a limit of the number of instances of scheduling; and a terminal processing capability. The target DCI comprises at least one of the following: first DCI, which does not indicate or schedule any data, or does not indicate or schedule data of any resource object; second DCI, which indicates or schedules one piece of data, or indicates or schedules data of one resource object; and third DCI, which indicates or schedules at least two pieces of data, or indicates or schedules data of at least two resource objects.
