Abstract: A method and an apparatus for PPDU-based transmission or reception in a wireless LAN system are disclosed. The method performed by a first station (STA) in a wireless LAN system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: receiving, from a second STA, a trigger frame including resource allocation information for transmission of a TB PPDU for a bandwidth greater than or equal to 80 MHz; and transmitting the TB PPDU to the second STA in a DRU or an RU on the basis of the resource allocation information. Here, DRU-based transmission or RU-based transmission can be applied to the TB PPDU on the basis of an 80 MHz channel unit. At this time, the first STA can be allocated, on the basis of a first STA being allocated to a specific 80 MHz channel to which the DRU-based transmission is applied, to at least one from among a first type DRU in which tones are distributed over an 80 MHz channel, a second type DRU in which tones are distributed over a 40 MHz channel, and a third type DRU in which tones are distributed over a 20 MHz channel.
