According to some embodiments of the disclosure, a first BS may: transmit a request message to a second BS, wherein the request message includes an identity of a first candidate cell and requests an indication of whether UE-measured TA is able to be used or an indication of whether cell switch without L2 reset is performed when switching towards the first candidate cell from a second candidate cell; and receive, from the second BS, a response message in response to the request message.
