MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541028794 A) filed by Nokia Technologies Oy on March 26, 2025, for Method And Apparatus For Generative Ai-Based Performance Monitoring.

Inventors include Afef Feki; Marie Line Alberi-Morel; Istvn Zsolt Kovcs; and Srilatha Ramachandran.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR GENERATIVE AI-BASED PERFORMANCE MONITORING A User Equipment (UE) comprising at least one processor and at least one memory is disclosed. The memory stores instructions to be executed by the at least one processor. The instruction, when executed, may cause the UE to receive, from a network element, a monitoring request for use case related machine learning (ML) model performance monitoring with simulated measurement data generated by a generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) model. The monitoring request comprises an indication for a required matching ratio between the simulated measurement data and measurement data obtained by measurements. The instruction, when executed, cause the UE to determine that the user equipment is not able to carry out the requested monitoring. In response the UE is to transmit information, to the network, on the user equipment not being able to carry out the required monitoring and information on the vendor server of the user equipment for the network element requesting the vendor server for assistance in the requested monitoring.
