Abstract: The present disclosure describes a method (700) and an apparatus (210) for generating a real-time collaborative dynamic map for an ego-vehicle. The method comprising collecting (702) real-time lane and behavior data of the ego-vehicle and one or more neighboring vehicles. The lane and behavior data comprises a plurality of vehicle behavior parameters and a plurality of lane level parameters of a plurality of lanes. The method comprises generating (704) real-time lane level segment data of the plurality of lanes based on the collected lane and behavior data and receiving (706), via V2V communication links, real-time lane level segment data of neighboring autonomous vehicles present in at least one target lane. The method comprises processing (708) the generated and the received lane- level segment data to generate the real-time dynamic map for the ego-vehicle depicting real-time traffic conditions in the plurality of lanes and the at least one target lane.
