Abstract: ABSTRACT METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR DYNAMICALLY CONTROLLING OPENING OF SECTOR GATES OF A SINTER MACHINE The present disclosure relates to method (500) and an apparatus (202) for dynamically controlling opening 5 of at least one of a plurality of sector gates of a sinter machine using an apparatus. The method (500) comprises capturing, using an image acquisition device, one or more images, in real-time, of an input feed (210) transferred on a sinter bed of the sinter machine and processing the one or more captured images of the input feed (210). Further, the method comprises determining a plurality of abnormalities in the input feed (210) based on the 10 processed one or more images and evaluating a degree of abnormality associated with each of the plurality of abnormalities. Furthermore, the method comprises selectively controlling, based on the evaluation, the opening of the at least one of the plurality of sector gates. [Figure 2A]
