Abstract: A meter locking/unlocking assistive device, comprises of a cylindrical body 101 attached with an inverted U-shaped handle 102 that is gripped by user for positioning body 101 in proximity to meter, a microphone 103 integrated in body 101 for enabling user to provide input voice commands for requirement of assistance in safe extraction of meter, a drawer arrangement 105 integrated in body 101 that is actuated by an inbuilt microcontroller for increasing/decreasing dimensions of body 101, a pair of motorized clamps 106 arranged on front portion of body 101 to acquire a grip of meter, a pressure sensor embedded in clamps 106 for monitoring pressure applied onto meter during gripping, and a motorized circular sliding unit 108 is arranged in between rod 107 and body 101 to provide circular translation to rod 107, which in turn adjusts clamps 106 to unlock/lock meter.
