Abstract: Method comprising requesting to provide, for each first prediction beam among a set A of prediction beams, respective at least K measurement samples, wherein each of the measurement samples indicates a measurement result of a received reference signal strength on a respective transmit beam from among a set B of plural transmit beams and an index of a best beam among the set A; receiving, for each of the prediction beams, the respective at least K measurement samples; adapting a meta machine learning model using the received measurement samples to obtain a variant of the meta machine learning model, predicting Top-N predicted best beams among the prediction beams for a data communication between a terminal and a base by inputting actual measurement results of the received reference signal strength on the first transmit beams into the variant of the meta machine learning model; performing the data communication between the terminal and the base station using one of the Top-N predicted best beams.
