The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: A mesh-connected smart safety helmet node is disclosed. The helmet node includes a processing unit (110) electrically coupled to a motion sensing device (114) and a gas sensing device (116), an alert indicator (106), an emergency trigger (104), and a sub-GHz low-power radio transceiver (112) coupled to an antenna (108). Processing unit (110) detects an event type selected from fall, inactivity, gas hazard, and manual SOS based on motion data and gas data. Responsive to detecting the event type, processing unit (110) actuates alert indicator (106), generates an event packet including a node identifier, event type, timestamp, and severity attribute, and transmits the event packet for receipt by a peer helmet node. Upon receiving a corresponding event packet, the processing unit (110) retransmits the corresponding event packet to enable multi-hop propagation toward a gateway device (124) for logging and dashboard alerting via a computing device (126), while operating offline.
