Abstract: ABSTRACT MESALAMINE AND FUCOXANTHIN CO-LOADED SNEDDS FOR NEUROPROTECTION IN PARKINSON’S DISEASE The present invention provides a self-nanoemulsifying drug delivery system (SNEDDS) comprising Mesalamine and Fucoxanthin for neuroprotective therapy in Parkinson’s Disease. The composition contains Capmul (oil), Tween-80 (surfactant), and Transcutol-P (co-surfactant) and spontaneously forms nanoemulsion droplets below 200 nm upon aqueous dilution. The SNEDDS significantly improves solubility, oral bioavailability, and blood-brain barrier permeation of both drugs. It offers synergistic anti- inflammatory and antioxidant effects, reducing oxidative stress, neuroinflammation, and dopaminergic neuronal loss in Parkinson’s Disease. The stable, orally administrable formulation is suitable for capsule dosage forms. Reference
