Abstract: ABSTRACT MESALAMINE–EPIGALLOCATECHIN GALLATE NANOSTRUCTURED LIPID CARRIER GEL COMPOSITION FOR PSORIASIS MANAGEMENT AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF The present invention relates to a topical nanostructured lipid carrier gel co-loaded with mesalamine and epigallocatechin gallate for psoriasis management. The formulation comprises glyceryl monostearate as solid lipid, sesame oil as liquid lipid, Tween 80 as surfactant, polyethylene glycol as co-surfactant and penetration enhancer, a pharmaceutically acceptable gelling agent, preservative, neutralizer, and purified water. Mesalamine and epigallocatechin gallate are incorporated into the lipid-surfactant system, homogenized, and probe-sonicated to form nanosized lipid carriers, which are dispersed in the gel phase under continuous stirring. An exemplary composition contains 2% mesalamine, 1% epigallocatechin gallate, 6% glyceryl monostearate, 8% sesame oil, 4% Tween 80, 5% polyethylene glycol, 1% gelling agent, and 0.15% preservative.
