Abstract: The current invention is connected with an Al-based Smart Medication Assistance System (MediMate) that is aimed at improving medication management and supporting users in maintaining proper healthcare routines. The system allows users to manage medication schedules including dosage timings, reminders, and prescription records through a mobile application by providing medication details, prescription images, and reminder settings. The medication data recorded are stored in a cloud-based database and automatically processed to generate timely reminders and maintain medication history according to the user-defined schedule. The system also has a role-based administrative system with User, Caregiver, and Administrator roles to manage medication records and monitor medication adherence efficiently. Also, the system includes an artificial intelligence-based support assistant based on the LLaMA model with the help of Ollama that helps users to understand medication instructions and navigate the program. The invention provides an efficient, reliable, and real-time solution for managing medication schedules, improving adherence to prescribed treatments, and supporting modern digital healthcare management systems.
