Abstract: The present invention discloses an AI-powered hybrid phishing detection system that combines textual feature analysis and visual webpage inspection for accurate real-time identification of phishing websites. The system extracts URL, HTML, and webpage characteristics including URL length, redirects, domain information, JavaScript behavior, and structural webpage features using machine learning algorithms such as Random Forest and XGBoost. Simultaneously, webpage screenshots are analyzed through a Convolutional Neural Network to identify counterfeit branding, duplicated layouts, spoofed login interfaces, and other visual deception patterns. A weighted fusion engine integrates the outputs of both analytical modules to generate a unified phishing probability score with enhanced detection reliability. The invention provides real-time browser-based protection by warning users, blocking malicious websites, and reporting identified phishing attacks. The adaptive learning capability enables continuous improvement against emerging phishing strategies, achieving detection accuracy exceeding 95% while reducing false positives and enhancing cybersecurity for banking, e-commerce, enterprise, and cloud-based applications.
