Abstract: Mechanism-Aware Techno-Economic Analysis and Regime-Based Decision System for Electrochemical Energy Processes ABSTRACT The present invention relates to a mechanism-aware techno-economic evaluation and decision-support system for electrochemical processes. The system integrates electrochemical loss decomposition, techno-economic modeling, regime classification, sensitivity analysis, optimization, and decision generation within a unified computational framework. An input module (101) receives operating parameters, which are processed by a computation engine (102) to decompose inefficiencies into activation, ohmic, and mass- transport losses and correlate them with energy consumption and economic cost. A regime classifier (104) identifies the dominant electrochemical limiting mechanism, which is mapped by a mechanism-to-decision module (103) to generate engineering recommendations. A sensitivity analysis module (105) evaluates parameter influence, while a predictive regime evaluation module (106) assesses regime transitions under perturbations. An optimization module (102) determines optimal operating conditions based on mechanistic and economic criteria. The system outputs techno-economic metrics (107) and decision recommendations (108), enabling deterministic, reproducible, and self-contained evaluation of electrochemical systems without external simulation tools.
