The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A measurement provenance system constructs a verifiable record across a multi-stage authentication pipeline on a mobile device. A step-hash module (900) computes, for each stage k, H_k = H(input || params || output || H_(k-1)), where params is a hash of the algorithmic constants active during the stage, binding each stage to its predecessor, output and active parameters. A root-signing module (920) signs a root derived from the terminal stage hash and a session identifier using a private key protected against software extraction, such that any alteration of the constants invalidates the signature. A selective-disclosure module (940) provides, for a requested stage, a package comprising that stage’s record, its input and output bytes, the preceding stage hash, an ordered list of subsequent stage hashes and the root signature, excluding the other stages’ records, whereby a verifier (930) confirms the stage without disclosing the others.
