Abstract: The present application provides a measurement method and apparatus. The method comprises: a terminal device receiving a first measurement configuration from a first network device in a first network, the first measurement configuration being configured for instructing the measurement on M measurement targets, and M being an integer greater than 0; and the terminal device being able to cancel the measurement on at least one measurement target in the M measurement targets when there are conflicts between the resources used for measurement on said at least one measurement target and the resources used by the terminal device in a second network. By the present method, when the first network instructs the terminal device of the requirement to measure M measurement targets, and when the terminal device determines that there are conflicts between the resources for the M measurement targets and the resources for the second network that lead to normal measurement of the targets according to the measurement configuration being impossible, measurement of these measurement targets can be canceled, thus avoiding the impact of the measurement targets on data transmission in the second network.
