Abstract: A MCB distribution board shielding device comprises, a transparent cuboidal body 101 crafted is accessed by a user to position the opening 102 over an MCB distribution board for covering the board, multiple suction units 103 are arranged over the periphery of the opening 102 that actuates to create a negative pressure to affix the body 101 with the board, an imaging unit 104 installed over the body 101 and integrated with a processor determines presence of the user in proximity, a facial recognition module integrated in the microcontroller to determine facial features of the user, the microcontroller compares the determined facial features with a pre- saved database to identify the user, a non-contact voltage tester installed with the body 101 to determine presence of current in the board, a speaker 108 installed over the body 101 to produce a voice command to notify the user regarding the detected current.
