Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a system (100) for maternal safety and adaptive emergency response. The system (100) includes a first wearable device (102) with physiological sensors (102A) to continuously monitor physiological parameters of a user and transmit data via transmission target switching. A second wearable device (104), communicatively connected to the wearable device (102), incorporates a first microcontroller (104F) that coordinates functional components for local emergency detection and autonomous alert transmission. A computing device (106) provides advanced analysis, sensor fusion, and emergency communication in proximate mode. The second wearable device (104) monitors connectivity through heartbeat signals and, upon detecting loss of connection, overrides transmission targets, processes physiological data locally, and transmits emergency alerts directly to remote servers (110). The system (100) provides continuous maternal safety through dual mode operation, intelligent communication, and reliable emergency response.
