MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023208 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Mascara Application Device.
Inventors include Dr. Durgesh Wadhwa; and Dr. Sachin Gupta.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: A mascara application device, comprises of a rectangular plate 101 at an end and a pair of flaps 102 are mounted by means of telescopic links 103 having primary ball and socket joints 104 at the ends on a pair of sliding unit installed on the plate 101 for aligning along eye of use for applying mascara, an artificial intelligence-based imaging unit 110 installed on the plate 101 to determine position of eyes of the user, the flaps 102 are mounted by means of telescopic links 103 having primary ball and socket joints 104 at the ends, on a pair of sliding unit installed on the plate 101 for aligning along eye of use for applying mascara, and an L-shaped telescopic gripper 111 mounted on the plate 101 by means of a tertiary ball and socket joint 112, for gripping a brush for applying mascara.
