Abstract: ABSTRACT OF THE INVENTION Title: Mangiferin-Enriched Swertia Chirata-Loaded Gold Nanoparticle-Based Hydrogel for Enhancement of Diabetic Wound Healing The present invention relates to a phyto-nanocomposite hydrogel for diabetic wound healing comprising mangiferin-enriched Swertia chirata extract loaded with gold nanoparticles in carbomer base. The formulation comprises active phytoconstituents (100) with mangiferin (110) and Swertia chirata (120); AuNP system (200) synthesized by Turkevich-Frens method; carbomer hydrogel matrix (300) with Carbomer 940 (310) and TEA (320); multitherapeutic mechanisms (400); wound healing outcomes (500); and product advantages (600). The invention provides synergistic wound healing through antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and angiogenic activities with sustained drug release, enhanced penetration, and improved patient compliance.
