Abstract: The present invention discloses a compact magnetic holding device intended for use during oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures for temporary retention and organization of suture needles, mini-screws, mini-plates, burs, and other small surgical components. The device comprises a sterilizable body having one or more enclosed magnetic zones capable of securely holding metallic surgical items during operative procedures. The device further includes a clip-on attachment mechanism configured to connect to surgical drapes, retractors, trays, assistant sleeves, or other chairside structures to provide rapid accessibility within the surgical field. In one embodiment, the device incorporates numbered holding compartments for systematic arrangement and counting of surgical needles and components. A removable sterile silicone cover may be provided to maintain aseptic conditions and improve handling safety. The compact curved ergonomic design enables efficient use in confined intraoral environments while minimizing accidental loss, contamination, or misplacement of surgical items. The invention improves surgical workflow efficiency, reduces assistant dependency, enhances organization during oral surgical procedures, and provides a reusable and autoclavable accessory suitable for implant surgery, trauma surgery, third molar surgery, orthognathic surgery, and related maxillofacial procedures
