The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.

Abstract: A magnetically actuated surgical tooltip system is disclosed. The system comprises a disposable tooltip segment (102) including a compliant grasper assembly (106) configured to produce pitch motion, yaw motion, and grasping motion, and a shaft (108), and a reusable base segment (104) detachably coupled to the disposable tooltip segment (102) via a magnetic actuation assembly (110). The magnetic actuation assembly (110) includes a plurality of inner ring magnets (112) and a plurality of outer ring magnets (114) configured for contactless force transmission. A plurality of actuation motors (118) is operatively coupled to the plurality of outer ring magnets (114) to drive a subset of actuation motors (118) in a differential drive configuration for pitch and yaw motion, and independently drive at least one among the actuation motors (118) for grasping motion. A biasing member (120) applies a restoring force to enable bidirectional motion. [Figure 1A]
