Abstract: ABSTRACT Magnetic Sponge Based Cleaning System This invention presents a cleaning apparatus designed for cleaning glassware and plasticware using a metal- impregnated sponge [103] and a magnetic field. The system consists of a metal-impregnated sponge [103], which contains ferromagnetic or paramagnetic materials like iron, nickel, or cobalt, that interact with an external magnetic source [104] to induce movement within the container. The external magnetic source [104] can be a natural magnet or an electromagnet, and the strength and direction of the magnetic field are modulated by a control system [105]. A movement detection system [106] tracks the sponge’s motion, and a cleaning solution reservoir [107] provides the fluid necessary for cleaning. The cleaning efficiency is optimized by varying the magnetic field and controlling sponge movement, with the force on the sponge [103] calculated based on its magnetic susceptibility and the magnetic field strength [104]. Additionally, the system features a user interface [108] for real-time adjustments of key parameters, enhancing the flexibility and effectiveness of the cleaning process
