Abstract: The present invention is related to a smart automated irrigation system with machine learning based intelligent motor control. Field information is acquired in real-time by a soil moisture, soil temperature, humidity and rain sensors. The machine learning controller uses the information from the sensors to calculate the irrigation needs. The irrigation motor is automatically turned ON when watering is needed and automatically turned OFF when adequate soil moisture and/or rainfall is sensed. It saves the irrigation, water, electricity consumption, and human labor in unnecessary irrigation, while also effectively enhancing the efficiency of agricultural irrigation.
