Abstract: The present invention provides a machine learning platform for English language learning and pronunciation assessment. The platform receives English learning activities and spoken learner responses through a learner interface and processes the responses using speech acquisition, preprocessing, and feature extraction modules. Linguistic and acoustic characteristics including phonetic, spectral, temporal, prosodic, stress, intonation, and fluency characteristics are analyzed against target speech characteristics to determine pronunciation assessment parameters. A machine learning analysis engine identifies learner-specific pronunciation patterns and language- learning deficiencies using current and historical performance information. A feedback generation module provides individualized corrective feedback, while an adaptive learning module selects or modifies subsequent learning activities according to the learner profile and assessment results. The platform thereby establishes a continuous cycle of speech-based assessment, personalized feedback, adaptive learning, and performance monitoring.
