MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641074439 A) filed by Cvr College Of Engineering on June 16, 2026, for Machine Learning-Based Water Quality Prediction And Contamination Alert System For Smart Cities.
Inventor includes Cindhe Ramesh.
The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.
Abstract: The newest innovation is known as Machine Learning-Based Water Quality Prediction and Contamination Alert System for Smart Cities whose objective is to aid users and administrators in detecting water contamination at an early stage. The system works by analyzing the information available about water quality parameters like pH values, turbidity, temperature, and the chemical makeup of the water, after which the data undergoes a process known as data preprocessing in order to enhance data quality and improve its management. Data processing allows the detection of levels of contamination using machine learning techniques. The system continuously monitors the levels of water quality detected and identifies data for analysis. Should the level of contamination go above a certain threshold, an automatic notification is sent through appropriate communication means.
