The application for the patent was published on June 19, 2026, under issue no. 25/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT A machine learning-based virtual mouse control system and method for enabling contactless human-computer interaction through hand gesture recognition is disclosed. The system comprises a camera module for capturing real-time hand movements, a hand detection module for identifying hand landmark points corresponding to finger joints and fingertips, a gesture recognition module for detecting predefined gestures based on positional relationship and inter-finger distance, a coordinate transformation module for converting fingertip coordinates into screen coordinates, an action generation module for producing operating system control signals, and an execution module for performing cursor movement, left click, right click, scrolling, audio volume control, and display brightness adjustment. The system eliminates the need for a physical mouse, wearable markers, or external controllers. Landmark-based tracking improves gesture recognition accuracy, while feedback validation reduces false gesture detection, processor load, and input latency, thereby improving real-time user interaction efficiency.
