MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641112797 A) filed by Mr. Sai Charan Mula on September 21, 2026, for Machine Learning-Based Runtime Threat Detection And Autonomous Containment System For Kubernetes Microservice Infrastructures.
Inventor includes Mr. Sai Charan Mula.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a machine learning-based runtime threat detection and autonomous containment system for Kubernetes microservice infrastructures. The system collects heterogeneous runtime telemetry relating to containers, pods, processes, network communications, resource utilization, workload identities, and Kubernetes control-plane activities. An event normalization and correlation module generates structured behavioral observations, while a behavioral profiling engine establishes expected workload characteristics. A machine learning threat detection engine identifies deviations indicative of anomalous or potentially malicious activity. A contextual risk assessment module evaluates the detected deviations using workload privilege, resource sensitivity, service relationships, historical activity, and potential impact to determine a threat condition. An autonomous containment engine selectively performs workload isolation, network restriction, process termination, access restriction, or pod quarantine according to the threat condition. Feedback from containment outcomes is used to improve subsequent behavioral profiling and threat detection.
