Inventors include Ms. M. Jahnavi; Mr. T. Gowtham; Mr. K. Yaswanth Kumar; Ms. L. Bala Tripura Sundari Devi; Mrs. G. Visalakshi; and Mr. B Balu Nayak.

The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT The instant invention relates to a predictive system that uses machine learning to forecast upcoming production bottlenecks and minimize the effect thereof on production processes. The system predicts the presence, position, and extent of the bottleneck based on analysis of production parameters comprising work in progress, machine utilization and availability, process time, cycle time, queue lengths, production throughputs, and downtime. Additionally, the system determines the likely causes of the problem and evaluates the effect of different remedial actions through scenario simulation. The likely impact of each action is predicted by taking into consideration production performance and potential production loss, after which the system makes an automatic selection of the best action among all others.
