Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of an intelligent machine learning-based system to forecast water demand, agricultural loss, and economic effect induced by Super El Niño through the integration of climatic, hydrological, agricultural, and socioeconomic data sets. The proposed intelligent system incorporates the parameters of history and real-time such as sea surface temperature, precipitation, temperature, soil moisture, water levels in the reservoir, crops, irrigation demand, commodity prices, and economic indicators of the region. Using the machine learning techniques, the climate pattern will be analyzed and association between Super El Niño situation and change in water demand, crop production, agriculture losses, and economic effects will be identified. The intelligent system will make predictions about water demand, crop loss, financial loss, and economic effect of the region with the levels of risks associated with them. FIG.1
