Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a healthcare management IoT system that is designed to facilitate the assessment of risks associated with patients’ conditions in real-time. Through the analysis of continuous physiological data coming from wearable devices, the system makes use of ML models to determine the current health condition of the patient. As opposed to reactive frameworks, this system is designed to process multi-modal data such as heart rate, blood pressure, and SpO2, in edge and cloud levels to achieve low latency. ML models are highly accurate in determining whether the patient condition deteriorates and his/her level of risk. As a result, this system lowers the number of patients who are readmitted into the hospital while easing the workload of healthcare professionals. FIG.1
