Abstract: The present invention discloses the development of a machine learning-based drone-assisted fertilizer management system for crop yield improvement in sustainable agriculture. It uses unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), multispectral imaging sensors, GPS devices, and machine learning algorithms to provide monitoring of crop health status, soil nutrient level, and growth conditions in real-time mode. With the use of high-resolution aerial imagery captured by drones, a predictive modeling technique is used to detect nutrient deficiencies and create fertilizer application maps. Based on the analysis of collected data, the drone executes variable rate fertilizer application process, allowing for proper distribution of nutrients in agricultural lands. It reduces excessive use of fertilizers, environmental pollution, and increases the effectiveness of resource usage. Continuous feedback collected from the field sensors allows for learning and decision-making processes regarding next crop cycles. FIG.1
