Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a social awareness system powered by machine learning for monitoring urban pollution in smart city settings. In order to forecast pollution patterns, the system uses a network of Internet of Things sensors to collect real-time pollution data, which is then processed by a cloud-based machine learning engine. A Social Awareness Module automatically creates and distributes geotagged health advisories via social media platforms and mobile applications when pollution levels above safety criteria. By offering fast, location-specific air quality information and predicted insights, this technology enables proactive public health actions. FIG.1
