Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relates to a M-AP coordination method, an access point device, and a communication system, applied to the technical field of communications. The M-AP coordination method comprises: a first access point (AP) device determining a first radio frame, wherein the first radio frame comprises first identification information, and the first identification information identifies that the first AP initiates M-AP coordination to a target AP in a M-AP coordination group suitable for M-AP coordination; and transmitting the first radio frame. Therefore, a third AP receiving the first radio frame can determine, depending on whether the third AP belongs to the M-AP coordination group or not, whether to subsequently participate in M-AP coordination initiated by the first AP or not, thereby implementing efficient coordinated scheduling among multiple APs, achieving sharing of frequency domain resources, time domain resources, spatial domain resources and other resource among multiple APs, achieving reasonable configuration of communication resources, and further improving system performance.
