Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention provides a deep-learning-based pulmonary image analysis system (100) for detecting and classifying lung cancer and pneumonia. The system (100) comprises a medical image acquisition module (102), an image preprocessing module (104), a lung segmentation module (106), a deep feature extraction module (108), a classification module (110), a prediction module (112), a diagnostic output module (114), a user interface module (116), and a data storage and model management module (118). The medical image acquisition module (102) receives a chest X-ray or computed tomography image. The image preprocessing module (104) preprocesses the image, and the lung segmentation module (106) isolates a lung region. The deep feature extraction module (108) extracts pathological and structural features using a trained deep learning model. The classification module (110) classifies the features into lung cancer, pneumonia, or normal lung condition, while the prediction module (112) determines disease probability and confidence score. The diagnostic output module (114) generates a corresponding diagnostic output. Figure associated with Abstract is Fig. 1.
